Release

Words escape me,
emotion is my language.
If only mistakes were made in pencil
My heart cries out for eternal rest
The sunset today was beautiful
Did the Sun invite Rain to be its guest?
Whatever the answer,
the two now coincide within my breast.
Is the continuous heartbeat a coward?
The self-chosen slumber courage in disguise?
Questions fill my heart, yet,
I am still glad to rise
The light and the shadow are slowly joining
Integration is the goal.
Yet life sometimes disappoints me
and my soul at times feels old.
How I long for Home.
Will I ever allow love to hold me?
Will Mommy one day be my name?
Or will misery be my journey?
The unlived life, revenge to the one who gave me
my name.
Forgiveness,
come now and teach my venom to rest.
Letting Go,
come, and be part of my quest.
Dear Love,
May Your peace be my guide.
Your Sacred Heart, the entry way
to the bliss of immortal life.
