TOUCHED BY HIS GREAT LOVE The woman was a sinner But she knew who Jesus was. Religion had condemned her, Then she was touched by His great love. She brought an alabaster flask Filled with a fragrant oil. She stood behind Him weeping This woman who was soiled. She knelt to wash His feet With the tears from her own eyes. And she kissed His feet in love, As the oil she then applied. Her tears flowed oh so freely As her love welled up inside. She took her hair and wiped His feet. She knelt, she loved, she cried. And then religion spoke the law Condemning her as one unclean. But Jesus said to Simon, "By love she's now redeemed." "You gave to Me no water, No kiss or oil like she. Her many sins I now forgive, Her love has set her free." "Go in Peace, your saved by grace, For you have loved Me much." She left that day forever changed, She had felt the Master's touch.
