God's love it did look down on me
O' how it had covered my soul;
When at the times that it grew weary
it took it in his hands to hold

O' with outstretched arms he did embrace me
his love held me Oh so tight;
It did soothe my heart, through and through
while in the middle of the night

His precious love it did gather me up
and it pulled me to his side;
Then he comforted me with words of joy
O' how he did come by

He took time out to hold me dear
he instilled his peace within;
What love he showed, to this soul of mine
that never cease to end

What wonderous love he did show to me
Oh it did fill my heart within;
As it did lift me up above the clouds
O' how his love it did descend

His love can shine in the darkest days
it enfolds me every night;
It's there even in the roughest storms
being for a burning light

Whatever my problem his love can resolve it
any trouble he can wipe them out;
And when I am wounded, it just heals me
this kind of love I can't do without

Not even the deepest rivers can stop it
not a mountain can block it's way;
No valley's too low, that he cannot go
and it is always on display

This feeling that I have is so marvelous
it is just too hard to explain;
Because, his everlasting love it boundless
that I'll always want it to remain
