Family
Today, Baby Girl, the Lord has blessed me by putting you on my heart with great hope. I’ve noticed how you take out the time to daily read the holy scriptures of your own free will. It pleases me to no end!!! God has given you a hunger for knowledge in Him, despite the odds, and I jump for joy and thanksgiving. I pray that you find yourself having a very deep and meaningful relationship with the Lord.
I know it doesn’t mean nearly as much when you hear “You are beautiful!” from your mother as it does when you hear it from someone else. That’s because, of course, most all mothers consider their own children to be exceptionally beautiful. But let me explain something to you about your particular beauty that sets you apart:
Yes, you do have beautiful hair. It looks like it’s been repeatedly kissed by the sun and as though the Lord loves on you by twirling your golden locks around with His fingers.
Yes, you do have a beautiful face. I have yet to see a porcelain doll whose features were designed so intricately, one so lovely as you. The people who form them would do very well to use you as a focus for their designs. You look like an angel. And perhaps, you unknowingly are one.
But, Sweetheart, there is a special kind of beauty about you that cannot be seen with the natural eye. Yes, the Lord formed you with an extremely compassionate heart. But your beauty comes from a place deeper than your skin and even deeper than your heart. It comes from a place even deeper than your soul.
As you continue to read and keep praying (as you have been) for understanding, the Lord will begin to open up to you the mysteries of His Word. Just keep reading and waiting on Him. You may read something today and then, days, weeks, months, and even years from now, you will suddenly gain brand new revelations about a scripture and it will amaze you.
Some of the scriptures that I pray the Lord will reach beyond your mind and place firmly in your understanding come from Psalm 139. Those scriptures were meant for every person who will read AND receive them. People who read them but do not receive them miss out on so many blessings for themselves. Receive it, Baby Girl, because He ordained the author of those Words to write them with YOU in mind. You ARE perfectly and wonderfully made, a beautiful, beautiful creation, lovingly made in the image of your Heavenly Father.
In my own words, now, I just want to tell you, according to Psalm 139:13-16, just how beautiful you really are:
God created your inmost being, the heart of you, your spirit, that beautiful creation made in His image. He knit you together in my womb. Knitting is a careful process, careful attention to every tiny detail. He cared about every tiny detail that is you. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. Look around you sometime and see all the wonderful, awesome things the Lord made. See how beautiful and wonderful His works are? Well, YOU are one of His wonderful works!
He went into a secret place that is His alone and left everything else to wait so that He could take special time out to make you. He had a special idea about what He wanted your frame (the start of the person who is you) to be like. He thought about you and loved you even before you became a person. And then He decided what the rest of you would be like. He counted all your hairs and decided what each day of your life would be like. He has special plans for you and He wrote all about those plans for you before any of them could happen.
He had very special days written for me too. One of the greatest of those was the day you were born and became a special, very beautiful part of my life.
I love you so much,
Mom

Psalm 139:13-16 (New International Version)
13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
16 your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me
were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
