You're our refuge and strength,
You're close by as we suffer natural disasters,
evildoers, face wars and famine in our world.
You silence our hearts --
grant us courage to push obstacles aside,

tuck away our wary fears,
and to remember Your words to Abraham,
"I promise -- I'll bless you all that I have --
bless and bless and bless."

Seeing Your promises kept to Abraham,
our apprehensions are deadened and --
we spill over with peace and calm.
