Take me from myself,
Cast iniquity from my heart;
Take my rights and desires,
Let only You remain.

I want a selfless heart,
Since You hold my life;
Your love is my security,
Your heart is my concern.

You have the hold on me,
May I lay hold of You,
By Your Word's wisdom,
By Your Spirit's strength.

Lord, let me love You more,
My God, let me fear You;
You are so awesome.
Great is my God and King!

Thank You for Your patience,
Praise You for Your gentle ways;
You are slow to anger,
And quick to forgive.

May I remember You always;
Be forever before my face;
As Your child, let me be fearful,
For Your sake alone;
As Your servant, let me fearful,
For the lost's sake alone.
