There came a time of trial
and my lord's number I did not dial
instead I answered it myself
only to find me in the world again
then I remembered Free Will
I had to want to climb this hill
so there my journey began
first went drinking then the pills
then all of a sudden I realized (Free Will)
NO this was God's will
and a test that took some time
but now I'm ahead not behind
for the streets I did live
With the scum I did eat
But now their looking at me
and they see what God has done
and their yelling we want some
Some of God that is
For the pills and booze just don't mix
and God should be our quick fix
