Having faith to move mountains what joy would prevail,
With God’s knowledge out pouring like an ore flowing well.
To understand mysteries and prophesy too,
It seems like there’s nothing that one couldn’t do!

To speak like the angels, and give your all to the poor,
That must tug at God’s heart that must open the door!
To pray with a faith that is always so strong,
How could one fail, could one ever go wrong?

All of these things are great it is true,
But love is the power that is going to come through.
Love is the force that opens the Door,
To the portals of heaven and blessings galore!

For all of these gifts which we so much desire,
Can never compare to what love does inspire!
Love hopes the best and love never is rude,
Does not keep to itself or try to exclude.

Where everything else in this world may fail,
Love is the thing which will always prevail.
For our God is love, and we must be too,
In everything we say and in all that we do!

For there is a debt which He left us to pay,
He even came in person to show us the way.
“This is My commandment, this you must do;
To love one another as I have loved you!”

For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son,
To conform us to the image of this perfect Holy One.
Bound with the perfection of His Father up above,
He poured out His life blood in the Spirit of love.

Now a River of life is flowing from within,
Flowing out to a world that is ravaged by sin!
Come to the healing of the waters that now flow;
Drink deeply of the love, of One we all need to know.

1 Corin. 13:1-Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become as sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. (2) And though I have the gift of prophesy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. (3) and though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, IT PROFITS ME NOTHING.

Col. 3:14-But ABOVE ALL these things PUT ON LOVE, which is THE BOND of PERFECTION.

Romans 8:29-For whom He foreknew, He also predestined TO BE CONFORMED to THE IMAGE of HIS SON, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.

1 John 3:23-and this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and LOVE ONE ANOTHER, as HE gave us commandment.

Romans 13:8-Owe no one anything EXCEPT to LOVE one another, for he who loves another has FULFILLED THE LAW.
