TIGHT TITHE LIGHT TITHE,

You lack, you want, you desire
You labour, you work, you venture
God rewards your enterprise.
Jehovah Jireh!
Did you say “Thank You”?
Goes beyond mere word of mouth

If we show appreciation beyond words
To mere mortals for good deeds and favour
How much more the giver of life
The owner of all things
The greatest benefactor, facilitator
Provider, Giver, omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent
Whose treasure is infinite, inexhaustible!

He does not ask for too much
Just one part out of ten, tithe so called
Ten Percent!
Unlike man, it is not to grease His palm.
He has no need of it.
Only to test our loyalty, acknowledgement and trust

Some contracts demand much more
Of course we oblige, play ball
Just imagine how foolish we can be
We recompense man
More than appreciate our Creator

Now Consider!
Just like man, but more than man
He can withdraw the contract
And terminate the flow
‘Cause He counts it Robbery
A crime we punish as mortals

But He is merciful
He desires obedience
Rather than sacrifice
He rebukes the devourer
And position us for more blessing

“Try Me” He says
And just watch how faithfulness is rewarded.
You will need more room for the bounty.
Not even all the warehouses
All the Vaults and Fortes
Can contain!
