Sometimes, my heart does this thing...
Skips for you
Flutters
Feels full
Feels heavy
I cry,
For no earthy reason at all
Is it possible,
to feel this much?
So much, that a second longer of your presence
and the vessel in my chest would burst,
spreading crimson tears over my pure garments
A heavy weight inside my chest
that I longingly need to share with others...
But it's too much to share
Even if I shared it with every living soul I would still be overburdened...
overwhelmed
This is what it's like to be in love
Every time you show your presence
I feel ready to pop
And loving you is too much,
too much for this earthly cage
How free am I?
Free enough to love
but not free enough to know what to do with it.
