Healing

It seems like yesterday
when all I had was time.
A time of no meaning to life,
but the broken heart of mine.
A time when all I long for
was the night-
that I may shed tears in the dark.

I could have stayed forever
in my pains
and never realized
the healing for my heart
was the GRACE in His Love.

When I longed for a new direction
Grace lightened up my path,
releasing all the inspiration
I ever needed for the journey.

Love… His Love becomes
the only reason I can move on.
God's Love has become
the balm that soothed my heart.
