“God’s Masterpiece in the making”

What do you think about when you hear the word masterpiece?
What comes to my mind is a Great work of art, like a painting or
a sculpture or a great piece of writing. The word Masterpiece
means a persons finest work of art.Did you know that God calls
You and I His Masterpiece and that He is the Master Artist in
our lives.

Before we came to Christ our canvas was being painted by us
with the colors and a design of our own choosing.One
day when we looked at the design we realized that there was nothing there of beauty and radiance,we saw a lot of the color black; sin on our canvas and in our hearts.We called out
to the Saviour The Master Artist;with sorrow in our hearts and tears
in our eyes and we surrendered our paint Brushes our hearts our lives to Him.
We realized that we needed His Beauty and His Design on our canvas; in our hearts in our lives.

Yes, The Master Artist has covered our canvas with His Precious Blood;
and has made our canvas as white as snow so He can add the colors and
Design of His Own choosing.We as the canvas have to submit daily to
His Grace as He creates the painting of His Beauty.Yes, The Master Artist
as He paints with His Love;is adding colors each day to our canvas.the colors
Gold of “His Grace”,Red’ His Mercy”Silver”His Word”,Purple “His Strength and
Wisdom”,Green “His Meekness and Contentment”,the color Blue,” His Patience”,
Pink “His Joy” and golden yellow “His Peace”,and many other colors as we go
through out our day.

There are Great works of Art like Da Vinci,Rembrant and Monet done by men and they are on display in the finest art galleries for people to view.
You and I are God’s Workmanship created unto Christ Jesus unto do good works;
Ephesians 2:10. So the next time someone sees our canvas will they see a work of
Art more beautiful then a Da Vinci Or a Monet or a Rembrant in the making by the Master Artist’s Holy Hand? You and I are on display for others to see as they witness
the colors of our lives and the Great and Beautiful design of Jesus Christ in our canvas.

I believe we as Christians are all looking forward to the day when the Master Artist
Perfect works will finally be completed and He will have all of His Perfect works of His Grace on display in Heaven one day. Philippians 1:6 “ He who has begun a Good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus”.
So the next time you and I take a look at our canvas we need to remember that the
Master Artist is still working on our canvas as He Loving adds colors and brush strokes
Of His Love and Grace.Yes, You and I are a Masterpiece in the making!!!
