I need your presence, Lord

Lord, I need to get into your presence when my day is done.

I will close my eyes so I can see your Son.

Lord, I give you everything, my heart please receive.

I know I don’t know it; until I am on my knees.

I think I am doing right, but you show me that I am wrong.

I might even find it out in one of your songs.

Lord, I thank you for just caring about me when I don’t want to try.

Your love I still constantly feel, even when I try to hide.

I lay before you and won’t move cause I know you’re there.

Lord, when I am with you, you dry my tears and take my fear.

The sadness and all my burdens are gone, that’s why I stay so long.

Your sweet forgiveness helps me to go on.

I worship before you with a new song.

You gave it to me, and now I am truly free.

Lord, you take my sins again and again that’s why I win.

Thank you my Lord for being my friend.

Your wonderful presence is where I have to go.

And every thing else is so, so, so.
