RETURN HOME

You came from Home
You must endeavor to return.
Yes, you came from above
Into this huge market,
This temporary abode
This expanse of Tourist Enclave

You must return Home.
In this present place
Everyone has a resting pad
Comfortable or otherwise, manageable,
May be inside a cave,
An igloo, wigwam, shanty

Perhaps, Lucky you, an apartment,
A condo, mansion, castle
Even a palace
According to your taste
Or providence’ dictate.

In addition have penthouses
In the highest tower
As of Babel
Overlooking everywhere
Just as the enemy tantalized The Lord
After forty waiting full days in Negev

Notwithstanding even Solomon's Palace
And the best places of rest
Are still temporary places
Your real home is not here
But yonder, a place prepared

You must return Home.
Your Heavenly Father waits
After sending you hither
Via vessels He chose
Vessels that you cannot choose
Nor can they choose you
But the Father chose you
To be a tourist, Pilgrim
But for His Purpose

You must find it!
And pursue it with zeal
That you might return home
Satisfied you have good stories
To tell The Father
He wants you back home.

Albeit the enemy desires not
That you make it back home
So he prevents you with schemes and ploys
Tactics and strategy he employs.
In the beginning as he deceived the first Adam
He will eventually succeed with some or many
And fail with many or some.

In love, the Father, who foreknew
The plans and the schemes of the enemy
Had to counter the scheme
Manifesting in the flesh
As Son of Man and Son of God
To ensure you make it home.

Thus He restored “Paradise Lost”
In the first Adam, being the last Adam
But Also the “First and the Last”
A sacrifice without blemish
Through His precious Blood
On the Cross at Calvary
It is Finished!

Death and hell conquered and defeated,
He rose and went home victorious, an advocate
Yet we are left comforted, strengthened
Taught and led by His manifestation
The Holy Spirit!
So we do not lose paradise regained.

Yet The Lord comes back in Time
To receive His own
That you and I, as Calvary beckons still
May indeed return Home.
