The gift of friendship
Given freely
The opportunity quite rare
The soul is open
With all the imperfections there
It comes from God
Someone once told me
By design - not accident
He was right
To teach and be taught
Through word and deed
Put Gods smile upon my face
He came to me
My gift, my friend
No one was there, or so I thought
Until I turned
He was standing there
My life, my views
Seem bound for change
The fear is gone
My friend is here
