Still Small Voice

Hurry, hurry, hurry, rush, rush, rush,
Push and shove, shove and push, oh what a crush!
Can we find a quiet space, a place to think and pray
Or must we keep on hurrying through each and every day?

If Jesus needed time out, how much more should we
Walk in the countryside or swim in the sea?
Watch the birds and animals, smell the flowers too
Take the time to look around, to see another view.

Chatter, chatter, chatter, shout, shout, shout,
Make as much noise as we can, what's it all about?
If Jesus needed time out, how much more should we
Listen for the still small voice, the one that sets us free
