Early in the morning, 5 a.m.
Jogging, jogging, walking, jogging.
I want to sleep. I am tired.
It's just too much. Nothing have I acquired.

After breakfast to the parade ground.
That is if we are able to eat at all.
Standing in the sun, sweating, feeling tired.
What a waste of time.

Endurance trek, oh no.
I'm glad it's just this once.
I'll avoid it if I can, oh yes.
I won't let them kill me.

Early in the morning, cool fresh air
Jogging, jopgging, walking, jogging.
Singing and clapping, enjoying myself.
I know it's good for my health.

After breakfast to the parade ground
Dressed in khaki and boots, T-shirt and cap.
Training, discipline, and improving coordination
Left, right, left, right, forward march.

Endurance trek, oh yes.
Talking, trekking, singing, exploring.
An individual, yet working with others
I will make it.
