Don't Miss Your Own Wedding

My people have a heart of gold, because the divine nature dwells richly within them,and the gold which is forged in their lives is far purer than the finest gold on earth. But beware that satan does not use even the legitimate and the good to blind you to that which is most important . Religious deception can appear in many disguises, even in a cloak of self-sacrifice.

When you are unselfish you are sharing with others who have needs, and in My Name you do it willingly and cheerfully, knowing that you have a reward laid up for you in heaven. That's the point: you have a reward awaiting you in heaven. Rewarding you is just as important in My sight as assigning you work details. Do not feel that it is selfish to contemplate that reward, or the fact that My own happiness is intertwined in sharing that reward with you someday.

To say that you would prefer to remain on earth during the Tribulation Period to win more souls reveals the fragrance of divine Love which reaches out to lost people. But YOU MUST LOVE ME EVEN MORE THAN YOU DO LOST SOULS. I have waited many long centuries to be wed to My Bride, the Church. I desire you with an unfathomable desire, that we might be united spiritually in our Father's Home in heaven, our proper abode. Those who determine to stay here instead of rising up in the air to go with Me to our Father's House are really putting others first and Me second. Those who would remain in the harvest field rather than coming up to join Me in the Bridal Chamber think that they are only taking a temporary pleasure from themselves, in choosing to be left behind in a world that hates Me, and such a sacrifice would be upon them only. But without fully realizing it they are really robbing Me of a great Treasure: the completion of My Bride, the Church.

When Mary anointed My feet with fragrant ointment in preparation for My burial, there were some who thought it was a waste, in light of the fact that so many poor people were starving and the ointment could easily have been sold at the marketplace to feed them. In a world of scarcity and need Mary lavished her finest on Me to show her love. She loved the needy, being a charitable woman, but she loved Me much more, to the extent that her eyes were focused only on My immediate need to receive a reckless love that does not count the cost. Mary understood that the poor would always be there to be ministered to in an imperfect fallen world. In like manner, unconverted people will always be in this world until the New Heavens and the New Earth are formed. But in ministering unto them, My own need must not be neglected.

Remember the parable of the king sending forth his servants out into the land to invite guests to His wedding. Every last one of them found excuses not to attend, and some of these excuses were legitimate. But in each case the best and most important matter was sacrificed in favor of the most urgent. One man said: "I have just married a wife, and the Law of Moses excuses me from being called away on any sort of business for a year." Yes, the Law was on that man's side, but he had no desire to be a guest at the king's own wedding, because he was ministering to someone else. So the king decreed: "Not one of those men who were invited shall taste of my supper".

If you don't rise to meet Me in the air, you will not taste of the glories of the Wedding Feast or be there by My side, though you might enjoy praise and honor as a Tribulation saint who bravely withstood the agonies and temptations of that terrible period of history.

Consider the parable of the ten virgins, five of whom were wise and five foolish. The five wise ones were diligent to keep oil in their lamps. Oil typifies My Holy Spirit. Blessed are the spiritual virgins who are faithful to stay filled with the Spirit, and to be attentive unto His Voice. The foolish virgins waste their lives and forget all about their Bridegroom. Some even engage in so-called good deeds to try to earn My favor, but they keep themselves far from My conjugal embrace. Should therefore, the wise virgins remain behind when I sound the Trumpet Call, just because the foolish virgins decided they didn't really care about My coming? In the parable the five virgins said something that was seemingly selfish: "Do not ask us to share our oil with you, lest we also run out because there is not enough for you and for us." They went in to the wedding feast to be with the bridegroom, while those who had neglected to keep their lamps trimmed and full of oil were shut out. The bridegroom said unto them: "I know you not." So be ye always ready, for ye know not when I come for you. Let your lamps be always burning with a holy zeal for the Kingdom of God, fueled by the Oil of My Spirit.

Why would you stay behind, beloved, when I have clearly said in My Word that you are not appointed unto Tribulation Wrath, but to the final outworking of your salvation in the translation of your mortal body to incorruption in Paradise? Do you not realize that it is then that you shall finally be forever rid of the vile remnants of your contrary sin nature which constantly strives against My Spirit? Why won't you believe Me and take what I offer you freely, without needless guilt on behalf of those Who have repeatedly rejected Me? Why would you accept the beginning of your restoration process at conversion and then reject the crowning moment of its completion? I suffered and died to gain a glorious bride, and to bring many children into My Father's House. I came to bring many sons unto glory, not to purchase a contingent of sweaty slaves. Would you forsake your own destiny as My Bride as if it were an inferior calling to be lightly esteemed? Would you be judged with the world during the horrible Tribulation judgments, though you have walked blamelessly before Me in My own righteousness?

Once the boss orders you to clock out and go home, do you stand around and demand to work longer? No, the boss knows what he is doing in sending you home. You need the rest and recuperation of your own quiet home after the heat and stress of the work environment. In a 24-hour workplace, there will be further work to do, but the boss has already covered the next shift on his work schedule. There is a proper time to labor, and a proper time to rest. In My Kingdom, laboring must be done by the light of day. The night shall fall when no man can work. Tribulation darkness shall descend upon this earth. At great peril of their lives men and women shall stand to defend My honor, and resist the terrible forces which come against them. Antichrist will be allowed a short period during which he overcomes the saints who receive My salvation following the Rapture. That is one difference between saints of the Tribulation Period and those of the Church Age. I have said of My Church that the gates of hell shall never prevail against it. You believers who read or hear this message before Christ's appearing are saints of the Church Age. The Tribulation saints are an entirely different company, whom I shall love and bless and spiritually defend so that they do not lose their spiritual lives to the Mark of the Beast.

Those few who stay true to Me during the Tribulation Period will believe in Me with all their heart and souls. They will share the Gospel on a much more limited scale than you can, for by then books will be censored, phone lines tapped and people's Internet downloads and e-mails will be under much greater surveillance. People's movements will be monitored. But even when the floods of hell threaten to overwhelm the earth to quench the flame of My Word of Reconciliation, I will see to it that the Gospel still goes forth as never before. This vigorous proclamation of the Gospel message will, by the end of the Tribulation, result in an unprecedented harvest of souls no man can number, even without your being physically present in this evil world. To compensate for the absence of My great Body, the Church, angels will be allowed to proclaim the everlasting Gospel in a way they are forbidden to do today. Today it is the responsibility of My Church worldwide to preach to the lost. During the Tribulation, I will anoint 144,000 Jewish evangelists to spread the Gospel far and wide, assisted by My holy angels. These men will enjoy physical protection which the many martyrs of the Tribulation Period will not have.

After Lazarus the beggar died, he was taken by angels to Abraham's bosom to rest from all his miseries and troubles. Soon afterward the rich man also died. But he went to hell, the abode of lost souls. He had a concern for his five brethren that they should be warned of the danger of ending up in hell themselves. Realizing he would never be let out of that dreadful place, the rich man asked Abraham to send Lazarus back up to the world of the living, so he could warn those wicked men of the fate awaiting lost sinners after death. The rich man paused not to consider that Lazarus might be resurrected back to his former life of disease, rags and destitution. His only concern was for his lost brothers. Lazarus had been a decent, righteous man afflicted by a disease that wasted his body and hastened his death. Though he was at peace in Paradise, Lazarus would gladly have risen back to life to warn others had I commanded him to do so, even if it meant continued suffering on his part. But it was time for Lazarus to be comforted and the rich man tormented. I forbade such a sacrifice. Abraham said to the rich man: "They have the Law of Moses and the prophets to show them what is right and good. Let them hear the Word of the Lord and keep it." He also told the rich man that if those wicked men would not heed the warnings of the written Word, neither would they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead. Many people, far from being grateful to you for choosing to stay behind to warn them, would only grow bitter toward Me and harden like concrete during the chastisements of the Tribulation judgments.

One man said unto Me when I called Him to follow me: "Allow me first to go and bury my father." That was a customary saying meaning that one's father was very aged and it was needful to be there to hold a decent funeral for him once he died. Not until then would a man's commitment to his father be completely fulfilled. But I said unto this well-meaning man: "Follow Me and let the dead bury their dead."

No cords will bind you to this earth when I call you, not even cords of love for others. You will leave this earth with a clear conscience, knowing that you did all that I commanded you to. Your works of love will follow you as precious eternal treasures laid up in your heavenly home. You will be free, even in heaven, to uphold Tribulation converts in prayer, for these people will be your mortal brethren whom you love in the bond of the Spirit.

When I appear, you shall be as I am, without sin and perfected in form and nature. Why would you want to put your soul in jeopardy of spending extra time on an even more dangerous earth, being tempted and assailed by satan as never before? Would you not, rather, finally be able to say that you are at rest from further temptation to stumble and fall? Do you not anticipate with great joy that glad day that I shall present you blameless and faultless before our Father? Why should you not expect to receive a full reward for the degree of faithfulness you have shown? Your reward is not some extra frill you can dispense with as being counterproductive to "humility". Your crown will be much more than a mere decoration for bravery and service. It is an everlasting place of exalted service worthy of the character I forged into your soul throughout your trying days on earth.

You are not a slave but My betrothed Bride, and a company of Joint-heirs with me. Yet you persist in seeing yourselves as nothing but mere slaves. When the Father rings the dinner bell and bids you to come home to dine and take refreshment at My table of rejoicing, do not let a devil-induced guilt anchor you to this world.

There is truly a time and a season for all things, My precious one. There has been a very long season of service on the earth for My Bride, the Church. And now that we are about to depart for the Father's House to be wed, it will be My glorious privilege to serve you and to crown you with all the joys of life everlasting under our wedding canopy. Do not begrudge Me that most holy of joys, the perfect culmination of our own happiness which I count as My own greatest reward. Did I not promise to make you one with Myself? In that moment you will fully understand this deep mystery and lose yourself in the ecstasy of it.

There will be many guests at our wedding. Old Testament saints will be present. All the prophets from Enoch to Elijah to John the Baptist will be there. The souls of many Tribulation martyrs will be with us to rejoice in our union. How wonderful to be a guest at the wedding of the Great King! But how much more blessed to actually BE My Bride!

O My Beloved, you have followed Me through many hard, rocky wilderness expeiences. You have even ventured out into the sticky briar patches of heated opposition to spread My Word. You esteemed My praise much more highly than the worthless commendation of carnal men. You have endured testings which would have shattered a person who didn't have My Spirit dwelling within them to strengthen them and buoy them up. You have endured fierce storms of sorrow and trial which left you bleeding and broken at times. In the night seasons when all seemed lost you would not renounce Me or call Me a liar. Wherever I led, even through fiery trial or deep waters sweeping over your head, you followed Me faithfully. You proclaimed the unchanging Truth of My Holy Word, even in the face of scorn or being called a religious nut. Wherever I led, you followed.

But now that I am about to lead you forth out of a wicked world into the heavenly bliss of My Blessed Presence, why would you refuse to follow that leading? You call yourself a bride betrothed unto Me, and truly you are. But do engagements go on forever? Is not the ultimate goal of engagement marriage, My beloved? Why would you miss your own wedding?
