Short Stories
Everyday has been a struggle. I have always wanted a good life. One filled with friends and laughs. When tears roll down my eyes I'm reminded of the reality that haunts. My past that has locked my arms tight together.
The darkness is blinding, making me believe no light is yet to come. The truth hurts and so does the light when you've been captured in darkness for so long. My chains have become a part of me. Death has become my existance and all the pain inside of me raptures with every thought. I wish I had done things differently. My hands shake, and a bright smile comes onto my face. The words on the paper stare at me. These scribbles could change someones life, give them a second chance and teach them a true meaning of life. Hope that never fades, because it is hope that will see me through these years.
Life in prison had never been an option, but it is hope that has shown me that hapiness is a result choices, and a positive choice is a result of hope.
