Introduction

You can't do it. It's not even possible. That will never happen. These negative statements are just some of the things that people say when confronted by dreams and visions. How many dreams have been crushed by these words? How many souls could have been won, but because of these negative comments, they were never affected? How many people started off with a destiny from God only to live life with a mediocre existence?

There have been millions upon millions of plans, purposes and destinies that have never taken place because the people that had them never desired to fulfill them. If we asked them why they chose to give up, I believe most of them would say one thing. It wasn t that they didn t love God. It wasn t that they didn t read the bible or pray. The one thing they would say is that they weren t ready to be great.

On May 29th 2004, two weeks into my salvation, God told me to join a nine-month discipleship program called Master s Commission. People told me I would never make it. Even my own parents didn t believe in me. Somehow I had to raise 2,700 dollars in three months just too barely make it into the program. With all of hell against me, I stood up, claimed my victory, and pressed on knowing without a doubt this is the place where God wanted to take me.

As I look back on those nine months, I feel victorious. I watched God use me daily. I watched my biggest enemies, my parents, become my biggest supporters. I saw over 78,000 people get ministered to by God through Master s Commission. Our team got to preach to over 50,000 of those people in Ghana, Africa. At our last crusade, I stood in front over 3,000 people while broadcasted on the national radio station and preached the gospel. I witnessed God perform countless healing miracles and even cast out a few demons.

I tell you all of this not to boast in my accomplishments but to tell you how good God truly is. He took me, a hopelessly lost 20 year old who was extremely hateful and bitter, who almost committed suicide twice, who was severely addicted to pornography and sexual lust and on his way to becoming an alcoholic, and turned me into a vessel which He could use. I know where I came from and I don t want to go back.

I know there is someone out there reading this book and wondering to themselves if they ll ever make it. I'm telling you it's not easy but if I can make it, so can you. You can be great because God himself said you could. He sent Jesus to die for you so you can have the opportunity to be great.

In recent months God has stirred up a passion in me to challenge people to be great. This book is part of that challenge.
