FOR My Sassy Girl (den2x)

From the very first time I saw you,
I admired your grace and beauty.
It was a year ago when I first saw you,
Still now you look ever as graceful and pretty.

Unforeseen yet, it was by me,
What in my life you would become.
I did not expect you to be,
My true love, my inspiration, and my plum.

Friends we were,
From the start that was all it was.
Smiling now, to you my dear,
I ask you now to look at us.

I am thankful to God, for the Gift of YOU..
He has blessed my path to lead me to you.
I’ve spent half my lifetime searching for you,
Only thru God have I found YOU.

As I’ve told you before:
“Place your heart in my hands,
You’ll be safe here..”
This is a promise I intend to keep,
‘til my heart has given out its last beat…
