Through God I receive forgiveness
Through Him, who gave me life
No issue, no burden is too great for him
For God held strong to me.

Through all my times of need,
Through trials, sufferings and heartaches
God never let go of me.

When my faith was running slender
When my patience was running out
When everything fell down on me
God gave me a way to make it through,
God held onto me despite my pain
He held me close, kept me from death,
God never let go of me.

When I felt like drowning,
When I felt like giving up,
God kept a firm hold on me,
He never let me go.

When I fall to pieces,
God picks me up and mends me.
When I fail in my own eyes,
God shows me where I succeed.
When I’m lost and lonely,
God rescues me,
His comfort reassures me.

To you, Oh God, I give you praise
I worship you, I lift my hands.
You never gave up on me,
You kept me holding on.
Oh Lord, you never let me go,
I will praise you Lord, forevermore
Amen!
