Why is it that we allow our reality to be created by the media's perception?
At work reading a newspaper or home watching television; blinded by deception
Not a day goes by that I don't see the lie that each one's heart is compelled to buy
Truth, what is truth? Do we even know how to deliver it to our lost youth?
And why must we gain from some else's pain?
As time passes quickly and saturates like rain
God gave me a voice to make the right choice;
But in this world, who will hear what God has given me?
With all the other noise pollutions raging like the sea
So, I'm led to ask, yes you, the reader of all this
As you look back on your life, what did you miss?
Was it your childhood years filled with warmth and joy?
Or was it playing ball with your vibrant little boy?
Maybe it was your daughter singing for the first time.....
Or maybe it was God telling you, "You're Mine"
The truth and all reality must go hand in hand
Help me God, help me......cause my feet to stand.
