What a passion,
For a portion.
So gruesome
yet awesome.
What a remedy for wrongs.
For you and for me He hung.
Bridging the chasm
between God and man.
Yet it was all a divine plan.

The sinless becoming sin.
To bring you and me in.

His Head was pierced-
Removing the curse,
Bestowing the blessing.
His Hands were pierced,
Making the works
of your hands fruitful.
His side was pierced,
Bring you forgiveness
and compassion
If you only believe.
His feet were pieced,
Giving you dominion
Wherever your feet trod.
His Body was broken
Bringing you healing.

Through it all his blood was shed,
Cleansing you; paid a great price
Once and for all.What a sacrifice!
The blood that speaks better things;
The blood of eternal covenant.
The blood that makes whiter than snow.
The righteous blood,
the holy blood poured out
for sinful man,
yet God delighting.

What a PASSION!
