2 a.m., my wake up call

Tossing and turning looking for peace but none are felt

With confusing thoughts in my head and numbness in my heart I go out into the night

I keep close to the shadows, the darkness, for it is my security

How quickly life seems to fly by with my eyes closed

How quickly I turn away from my hope

How quickly I began to question my walk... my life

Nothing seems to make sense anymore.... I feel my emotions ripping me apart slowly

Over & over again I fall, night after night I am awoke by the sound of my memories hitting the floor....

My eyes are blood red from the unstopable tears.... like rain gently falling to awake the sun... my tears are soundless

At 2 a.m. when the world is sleeping, when everything is still....

I'm looking for something....
