Saw a rainbow today...
Saw a beautiful rainbow today.
In the midst of the storms clouds and with
a little sun of ray,
A rainbow appeared to brighten my day.
Despite all the threatening gray from above
A rainbow appeared to send me God's love.
As people were rushing to go here and go there
I sat there quite peacefully and breathed in fresh
air.
I expanded my lungs, as I released all my troubles
and as I rested there,
I looked up and the single rainbow was double.
Not split into two separate entities.
But another one, quite bigger and bolder, filled with quiet certainty.
It reminded me of God's always reaching love.
How He sees everything, not from above.
How His love reached down, in the midst of my pain.
His rainbow of love makes me whole again.
