Every day we run through the rain
Believing God will keep us
And often when things don't seem alright
We gripe and fume or fuss.

But look at life in this way
The path is always through;
Through the rain or through the door,
It's really up to you.

Sometimes He won't answer
The way we wish He would;
We would spare a sorrow
If we only could.

But sorrow comes to strengthen us
And helps us make our goals
Our faith will have a perfect work
And lift our heavy souls.
