I am an eagle.
Born to cascade the heavens;
Born to soar and tower
Born to mount up to surmount.
Born to be the king of the skies
Born to be the head and not the tail.
Born to reign here on earth.
Born to give glory to my Maker.

I am an eagle;
Born with feet like the hind's
Born a God-kind
Oh! How so kind.
No one leaves me behind.
His will I will find
As I feed, renew my mind.
I'll bind my mind to His mind.

I am an eagle.
Not born to struggle
I'll scale any hurdle
Any barriers I'll dismantle
'Cos God has given me a mantle
and made me His eye's apple.
Destructive wind to me is little.
Works for me, it's no battle.
I am an eagle

Destructive storm is my pal.
It is to me a lift, a staircase, a rocket booster.
It carries me to glory changing my story.
Opposition leads to promotion.
Adversity leads to prosperity.
I have insight and foresight.
I peck no more at the dust.
God has prepared a table for the just.

I am an eagle
My talons are talented and targeted.
My beak is like a spear
I have earthly and heavenly vision.
I always have a goal when I go.
And when my feathers become bare,
Time to renew my strength;
in the secret place., in His presence.
