From the Outskirts I see a lot,
I see the cars moving to and fro,
How the flowers grow,
And the children at play,
Taking advantage of another day.

The wind starts to blow through my hair,
This is a gift we all share,
But time is moving on how can you dare miss the beauty,
All these things my God created what an act of glory,

It's so pretty to see the flowers in bloom,
Stars in the sky and a full moon,
The rain fall and Lightning flashing,
Birds flying and babies crying.

From the outskirts where you can see almost everything God created,
The beauty is deep,
And to know that my Father didn't take a break for six days,
Didn't complain and wasn't in a strain,
He used what He had,not once did He get mad.

Until He created us we messed it up man alone,
What in the world have you done,
Don't blame it all on Adam and Eve they are not the only ones,
Since then there are some things you and I have done.

Looking in from the outskirts it's easy to see,
That it wasn't just Adam and Eve that messed it up for me,
Since then my Father has died on the cross,
Shed innocent blood,we all have been cleansed,
We get dirty on our own now,
Every tub has to sit on it's own bottom,
Don't you dare try and blame no man are woman for your behavior,
You do it because you want to are wanted to.

We have so many things going on now it's just so sad,
Looking in from the outskirts it's getting worse,
People are killing each other daily,
It's so hard to look at these things and not wonder why,
I always wonder what could be going through a persons mind,
In this age there is no telling,
We all come short,because we don't have Jesus stored in our heart,
We are getting more lost by the day,
Somebody has not taken the time to pray,
Somebody is taking advantage of the beauty,
Blaming somebody else,
Instead of examining self.

The best place to be is on the outskirts,
You can see just what it looks like,
In a world filled full of sin,
Just make sure you don't join in.
