Time, We Say We Never Have Enough Of It

Time, we say we never have enough of it.everyone of us is given a certian amount here on earth.God gives us the responsibility to manage it wisely. We are all giving enough time to do what we are suppose to do,that is to prepare for eternity.Where are we going to spend eternity? The choice is ours.How we manage our time is up to us. Jesus lived his earthly life to about 33 yrs. old, yet He had time to complete all that The Father had given Him to do. Such a short life,but yet He had finished the work.John chapter 17:1-4. The work Jesus had finished,was Redemption.Jesus came to redeem the lost.

Time is passing quickly, moment by moment. We look back on years gone by and wonder where did it all go? James 4 13-14.,our life is but a vapor,we are here then we are gone on into Eternity. Eternity in Heaven Or Hell.

I have heard people say,I will have all my fun now,when I die, it will all be over. Some have said,we only get one go around , might as well live it up and enjoy ourselves. This is the only enjoyment I'm gonna get. This is a false belief, Satan has many people blinded by thinking this is all there is.

I like to share a true story about a man who died grieving for wasted years. Some time ago,I worked at a hospital. I walked into a patient's room. It was a middle aged man that looked tough and mean. He was on the phone using God's name in vain. I was not expecting to encounter this,the man put the phone down and apologized to me,then he began to tell me that his son was giving him fits. He said to me, "you don't understand what I am going through."As I stood there ,the Holy Spirit began to show me this man's entire life.I saw how he had been unfaithful to his wife,never at home for his son,he partied and dranked his years away. He told me that his son was involved with a gang and there was no hope for him.I said oh! yes there is.I will pray for you and your son,then he laughed at me and said,"do you think God will hear you?" The man said , "he doesn't hear me.I don't think God answers prayer." I told this man that I knew for a fact that God does hear and answer. Then he said " o.k." He began to cry like a baby, pouring out his heart. I told him that now is the time for you to repent of your sin and make Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior. Then you will be able to pray on the behalf of your son. It is not to late, I told him. He just sat there and made no effort. He went home on Tuesday and died on Sunday. He died without Jesus and greiving for all those wasted years.

You see we don't have to look back and long for the wasted years. We can't change that one bit, but we can change the rest of our future by going forward.Paul said "forgetting what was behind" in Philippians 3:13-14.God will forgive for misused time. Repent and press forward to living a Godly life with the rest of your time.

We all will give an account,Romans
14:12,we will all have to give an answer,how was our time spent? Just as we will give an account for every idle word and everything else in our lives.

We watse time by pleasure seeking, We watch all the wrong T.V. programs filled with trash,wasting the hours away, w hen there is so much more that we could be doing. We waste time participating in gossip and other ungodly activities.1 Corinthians 3:13-15,says our works will be tried.

Are we using our time wisely to store up Heavenly treasures? The treasures that we gather here on this earth are useless in reality. They too are fleeting and we certiantly can't take riches,cars,and homes with us when we die.

Time is constantly moving, it is quickly passing us by. Our life is but a vapor, we are here ,then we are gone. II Corinthians 6:2,now is the day of Salvation. We do not know if we will be here tomorrow,the threat of war,and all manner of diseases.the future seems uncertian. Those of us who are saved,know our future.If you are lost, now is the day of Salvation,don't put it off, the clock is ticking ,our natural bodies will cease to exist,but time keeps going for Eternity and so will your soul. How are you managing your time?Are you ready when the time comes?
