God’s Whispers

Do you hear the voice of God
Whispering softly in your ear?
Is His voice suggesting to you,
Something you dread or fear?
Did He prod you today to incline
Your heart to be open to a need?
Do not linger in procrastination,
Or doubt. Adhere to Him with speed.
For God’s plan requires
Unconditional obedience to Him
Which includes hearing mandated
whispers, be they amiable or grim.
When we dissent we create chaos,
Concerning His perfected design.
He alone orchestras our lives,
He is in charge of yours and mine.
We make choices in our life,
Which divert His special intent.
It is our choice to walk away.
We elect to become disobedient.
Yet God patiently waits
For us to yield to His perfect will.
He longs for us to help
complete plans He wants to fulfill.
