Faith

Since my recognition of my inability to control situations in my life, I have truly devoted my mind and my heart to believing there is a reason for everything.

Most of my existence has been based upon trying to change everything I think has been wrong and turning into right, but it does not work. It is like digging a hole with a shovel that will not cut the earth.

Between my personal losses and my stressful life at work, I have made my own misery, wanting to travel down different roads every time something goes wrong, even though in my minds eye, knowing that whatever that other path brings, it is going to be the same ending, eventually.

There is nothing wrong with trying things that are new, but if you are trying those experiences with the thought that it will be different, you do not always accomplish those feats with the ideas that you have.

I have always believed that the Lord is with us and that he is always there when you need him, but we don’t always keep this with us until we get into a situation that we feel helpless and alone.

I don’t always give thanks when I should or pray for no reason, but I feel that the Lord knows what is in my heart and he also knows that I have been through numerous bouts of tragedy while he is at my side. Feeling his presence has been my miracle in life.

I don’t have a lot of money or material things, which in this life is very nice to have, but not very necessary, but I have the Lord’s unconditional love and undivided attention and that is all any human needs. He will provide for us, regardless if we think we are not going to be financially stable enough to pay our bills or put food on our table.

If we continue to seek the kingdom of God, instead of seeking riches here on earth, we shall see a day without the problems of everyday life.

Please do not forget the waging war that our counterparts are fighting for our freedom and the kingdom of righteousness against evil.

My faith has always been able to pull my family and I through the most crucial and debilitating times and as long as I know the Lord is with us, I keep marching on.
