Finding a new land could bring you grief,
Enough to want to give up what you seek;
Thinking that may bring you some relief,
But actually only shows that you are weak.

Just like Israel thinking it was good land,
For they thought that it was worth money;
But it was just not where God had planned,
A land that was flowing milk and honey.

Do not ever go against the Lord your God,
Or go in fear of the future that is waiting;
For your Lord does not deceive nor a fraud,
The flowing of milk and honey are elating.

It makes one skeptical facing the unknown,
Even when seeing His glory with your eyes;
It's because that you are feeling all alone,
As flowing milk and honey is in disguise.

You're apparently without faith and respect,
When you do not put the trust in the Lord;
Look back on your past that you can reflect,
Promises of milk and honey in the Holy Word.
