THIS OLD PEN
From the middle of the night to the bright of day this old pen has written many a word.
Soon it will be time to slow it down and follow another calling.
At the height of writing this old pen has penned many a verse, the most have been about God and His universe.
It has been a pleasure to wait upon the Lord to tell me what to say.
He has used me to convey a message that not all writers get to say.
The theme mainly being that God loves us all and wants us to live with Him for eternity, and also from the birth of His Son, Jesus Christ, to the battles we fight everyday.
The battle of facing and overcoming the temptations of Satan I pray will be a little easier by what 1 have had to say, not I so much, but as to what God wanted me to convey.
When we put them all together I pray that many of the lost will bow before His throne, after all that is the main purpose for our being, to glorify God in all that we do and say.
As for me, writing for and about God is and always will be a privilege and an honor that has been bestowed upon me.
Like all called writers of the past, the present, and those yet to come, I pledge myself to the advancement of God's kingdom here on earth.
If I wanted to get rich and live high I would ignore writing and follow another path, but then one day I would have to explain to God why I was disobedient and went astray.
I love God and fear (have a heart felt love and desire) Him enough to do what He has called me to do and not question His ways.
As long as God (through the Holy Spirit) inspires me I will be at His beck and call to put on paper whatever He wants me to say.
