By God, I see you as part of me
To you a friend, I would like to be
For there's a bit of goodness in everyone
A reason for us to unite as one
Let not the world make you sad
For there is joy greater than the joy passed
I seek that joy in a part of you
And hope that the good in you comes through
Let nothing be an obstacle to keep you from being
A loving person and my friend
For there's a reward for every act of peace
So I hold out my hand with love, and love I seek
Be not hesitant to show one another
The love you have as a sister or a brother
Put all your hate up high on a shelf
And love thy neighbor as thyself
