O' precious Lord wash me so I may see
all the good that's insured for me
Cleanse my soul with the words of life
help me look beyond all misery and strife
Guide my steps as one would a child
who knows not what lies, on each mile
Take my hands as I walk each day
let your light lead me, in the right way
O' Lord preserve the good that's instilled in me
for all inspiration, comes from thee
Let my heart dwell in your safety;
for you promised, this you would do
So in whoever I meet, they will know
that everything you say is true
For who better than you that can keep the soul
from the corruted and wasteful ruins
That gathers like moth to smother us out
but we have your word to girdle out loins
I beheld how you feed the sparrows
they never wander around aimlessly
They seem to not worry one little bit
and you are able to do the same for me
So we don't have any need to worry
over what problems that lies ahead
For he watches over us like a caring father
that feeds our souls with his daily bread
