From heaven above placed in your care,
No other gift has come close to compare.
Those big blue eyes and sandy brown hair,
Ten tiny fingers and ten chubby little toes.
Chubby little cheeks and a little button nose,
You are in awe and amazement.
Such a precious little being entrusted to your care,
On loan from heaven to add some flair.
Take heart in these times, as they flutter on by,
Babies grow fast and children grow quicker.
Savor these times and take plenty of pictures,
For you'll never believe how the time goes so quickly.
