-Fruit for the humbled-

Once lived a Leopard who had a tree where the most lucious fruits grew in the entire jungle. If one would do a task for this Leopard, the Leopard would give one of the fruits as a reward. A monkey went out to find this Leopard so he could have a fruit for himself. The monkey found the Leopard and asked Him if there was something he could do. The Leopard gave him a task. It was hard and laborious, but the monkey finished the job. He went back to get the reward, but once he had asked for his reward, the Leopard denied him the fruit. The monkey said, "But I did the job for You, so why can't I have a fruit?" The Leopard replied, "Foolish monkey, you did not do the task for Me, you did it for yourself so you could eat of the good fruit. Only those who wish to serve me will be rewarded."
