Friendship begins with a smile,
The shake of a hand,
The exchange of a glance.
It continues with sharing,
A helping hand,one who is caring.
Friendship begins to grow
As two people are drawn nearer,
As they love and support at all costs.
Friendship is the beginning
Of unconditional love,
Of a journey far set
That will be conquered.
Friendship withstands all battles,
Stands strong through storms and blizzards,
Grows with every disagreement
And bonds with the heartfelt touch of memory.
True friendship lives within us for eternity
It touches our hearts, minds and souls as one
Nothing can extinguish
The power of true friendship.
