Stewardships 3T’s

At this time of year (really every time of year) we should remember the 3T’s of
stewardship.

Time - All our time is from God. Every hour, every minute, every fraction of a second.Only God can give us time on this earth. From the time we are born until the time we are
called to heaven is time given to us from God. The way we use that time should show God’s glory. Reading the bible, attending a bible study, helping with children’s Sunday school or just helping someone who needs help.We need to let it show through the use of our time that we are God’s people and our time here on earth is really His.

Talents - Our talents are also gifts from God. Maybe you are good with paperwork or maybe children are naturally attracted to you. Maybe people natural agree with you and follow your lead or maybe you are mechanical and can do things with your hands.Whatever your natural gift is, God has given it to you. God gives all the gifts needed for doing His work and He gives everybody as many opportunities as needed to use His gifts.Look for your opportunity and use His gifts.

Treasure - Our finances are also God’s gifts. Everything we have is from Him.Our first fruits should be given for God’s work. This is a good time of the year to review our checkbooks and see if it shows what is first in our lives.Is God first or is the world.
