John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His Only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life....

2 Corinthians 1:3-6
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. If we are distressed it is for your comfort and salvation. If we are comforted, it is for your comfort which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer.
As a parent I have thought often of the sacrifice God made for us. To give up His Only Son, to freely offer Him for us? Could you make that sacrifice? As a mother who has been separated from a child by death the pain is very real. The struggles I faced over the past 14 years have been a series of valleys and peaks. For years I stayed in the valley, my life was drastically changed forever more. I had faced so many trials in my life, but nothing could compare me for laying my child to rest, walking away from the grave with only memories. No more would I hold her here on this earth, no more laughs, no dances, no dates, no wedding.

I remember the late nights of crying, depression and no will to live. Within 6 months of her death I found myself in another trial. Divorce! Finding myself as a single mother of a two year old, still facing the loss of my daughter and being unemployed almost finished my life. I had truly come to the bottom.
I had been raised as a Christian, saved at the age of 8, yet I felt so alone. My heart cried out for love, for some peace within my soul, for the strength to raise my son alone. I began reading the Bible again, reading and memorizing God’s promise for my life.

Psalm 138:3
In the day when I cried, Thou answered me and encouraged me with strength within my soul....

Psalm 34:19
Many are the afflictions of the righteous. But The Lord deliverth him out of them all....

You see I had let the devil take control of my life, of my self-respect, of what I had become. I was bitter! I began to pray diligently to God, praying for peace, for acceptance for FORGIVENESS. I needed to be set free from the guilt I felt. Looking in the mirror would bring tears to my eyes; the joyful person was gone at such a young age. I was over weight, depressed but I was NO longer alone. That night I rededicated my life to the Lord, this was not an easy road back, and today 14 years later I am still traveling down that road. Daily I pray for the strength to accept myself, my life and the losses I faced. I have learned how to be a compassionate person, someone who looks for the positive in what seems hopeless. The spirit of joy fills my heart and places a song in my heart. I now know that no matter how helpless I may feel in any circumstance. I AM NEVER HOPELESS..... God gives us hope. Hope for today, tomorrow and for eternity. I know someday I will be with my daughter again, I just thank God I have that promise of eternity...

Father how blessed I am to have the promise of eternity. May You teach me how to love each day, as it was my last. I thank You for the time I had with my daughter. Thank You for loving me even when I don't deserve it. May we all remember the gift You GAVE us. The gift of Your Son. How You gave so freely I cannot understand. Thank you for ALL the people you place into my life, the lovely and the unlovely. May I only seek to glorify You. Forgive me of any wrong feelings towards others; remind me that words I speak today I may not get tomorrow to apologize for. Thank You for Your Love.. In the Perfect Name of Christ I pray.. AMEN

Do you feel hopeless?? Are you trusting in Christ? If you are not sure of your salvation.. Please do not wait, tomorrow may never come. Do you want to take the chance on eternity??

God loves you!!!!
