Now if your soul is weary within
if it seems to be no way out
Just calm your fears and wipe your tears
God knows what it's all about

Within the channels of the heart
many things do linger there
But through it all, just still hold on
I know someone who does care

For there in the darkness lies a light
it's our Savior who lights the way
No matter how gloom, our troubles loom
there still lies a brighter day

God did capture every sighing moment
he remembers his promise to us
So the hope we have still lies before
if in his word we put our trust

We may not understand every load we carry
nor why they came at this time
While we were resting in his love
pressure came to hit our minds

But never the less we have the best
to weather each and every storm
For through the thickness of the clouds
God speaks peace, when alarmed

Our Savior is touched by our feeling inside
and he knows just what to do
So whenever we're at our lowest state
he will restore our souls anew
