When we lay something on table before the Lord
we don't go back with the same plate
But we go to, the next order on the menu
while we feast of what we already ate

When we carry something to our Savior
no need to put the same order in
For that one was filled and well answered
no need to worry how it's done or when

For when first placed it was received
and he did understand our request
So why go back and repeat the same order
but just rely on that and rest

Now no mistakes he'll make, no not one
for he knew of it, before we did ask
And we can count on him, in keeping his word
so lets leave him to the task

The order it will not be cancelled
it has already been worked out
Now let us ask for some patience
God will prove his word without a doubt

No calling him back to ask any questions
put negative to rest in the mind
There's nothing left to do, but eat the word
and he'll be right there on time

For he is a prayer answering God
when the heart has rendered it's due
And we can rest assure he won't be late
so believe, the prayer got through

David said; yet have I not seen the righteous
forsaken
not his seed begging bread
Therefore our hearts it can be thankful
for each word that we had read
