A Teenager’s Creed


Mother/Father—

1. If you model for me self-control, I will be patient.

2. If you model for me fairness, I will be fair.

3. If you model for me truth, I will be truthful.

4. If you model for me humility, I will be humble.

5. If you model for me unselfishness, I will be unselfish.

6. If you model for me love of God, I will be a God fearing person.

7. If you model for me unconditional love, I will be loving.

8. If you model for me a prayerful life, I will be a person of prayer.

9. If you model for me happiness, I will be a happy person for life.

10. If you model for me a courageous life, I will be a courageous person for life.

11. If you model for me respect for all, I will be respectful to all.

12. If you model for me unconditional love of spouse and family, I will be a responsible spouse and parent.

13. If you model for me sexual chastity, I will be responsible and chaste before and in my marriage.

14. If you model for me responsible money managing, I will be a responsible money manager.

15. If you model for me social responsibility, I will be a responsible citizen.

16. If you model for me these things, the kingdom of God will be mine forever and ever!!
