The fine lady picked up a porcelain water pitcher and studied it from all angles.

I knew that she would pick that one. It’s so beautiful! Just look at the way the light causes the reds to reflect their brilliance.

With a tilt of her hat adorned head,she read the label, ‘Sunset’. Next, she selected a velvety blue carafe.

See how she’s looking at that pitcher. Its' coloring matches the ladies' soft eyes. It’s perfect with its blue and feather white brush strokes.

She read the label, ‘Sky’. Examining every decanter, ‘Grass’, ‘Wheat’, ‘Stream’, and ‘Pine’ she returned each to the shelf.

She’s having trouble deciding. They are all stunning. My tint is so drab! Why didn’t the potter add color to my glaze?

She picked up the smoky grey water pitcher, its richness translucent in her hand.

I know that I don’t belong! Put me back behind the others. She read its label, ‘Dusk’. “Exquisite! Wrap this one up for me!”

Nice story Darlene. I needed to hear the message in it today.

There's a little typo in the 3rd sentence "It's is" but other than that it's great. I'm going to spend a little time and meditate on the lesson your little story imparts so well.
