"Be pleased, O Lord, to deliver me; O Lord, make haste to help me!" Psalm 40:13


Do you ever feel like crying out to God, "Oh God, hurry up and help me!" It's like you're right at the end of your rope.

You probably have felt more than often that God can't hear you. Can He really hear me? Let's check another verse:


And the Lord said to him: "I have heard your prayer and your supplication that you have made before Me;...." 1 Kings 9:3a

So there you are! God said Himself that He has "heard your prayer and supplication" that you've made before Him.

When troubles come, and they will, my friend, then don't hesitate to pray. Tell God all about it. He hears, He understands. Make prayer a habit. Whenever something bad or sad happens, pray; whenever something good happens, pray and thank God; God hears you no matter how you pray. Even when you can't seem to find the right words, God looks at your heart, and knows what you are feeling. Besides, He knows what you're telling Him about before you even begin thinking of praying!


Then (Jesus) spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart. Luke 18:1


And here's the important one. Be sure to read this carefully:


".....Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My (Jesus') name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive. that your joy may be full. John 16:23-24


Here's an interesting, but true, thought I thought I'd leave with you:

"The one who does all his praying
on knees does not pray enough."
