There are times in the lives of my children when they feel My hand upon them to deal with them for bad attitudes or behavior, or for unkindness toward others or irreverence toward me; sins they’ve ignored or called by another name, and refused to root out out their own lives through godly repentance. I allow sickness or other difficulty to come into their lives to force them to take stock of what is wrong in their lives and turn to Me in humble contrition, that the sins may be washed away through the Blood of Christ once and for all, and their heart might be made right toward Me.

It is the unrepentant sinner who shall have the weight of My punishment fall upon him or her, for these people persist in sin and refuse to come to Christ, the Fount of cleansing, that they might be made pure and acceptable in My sight. How terrible will be their fate, to fall under the dread stroke of My wrath on their day of judgment. It will consume them as a fire unquenchable, for they would not, during their own lifetimes, allow My Blood to shield them from the just penalty of their own sins, and to wash those sins away. These sins are naked and open unto My sight, continually testifying to Me that the sinners who commit them are worthy of destruction.

Discipline means there is hope for you and I still love you. Punishment for all your personal sin fell on Christ My sinless Son. And it must fall on all those who refuse to take Him as the Lamb Who atones for their sins.
