My Ways
I take myself outside tonight and walk out to the middle of the backyard. Looking up into darkness I reach and stretch as far as my tiptoes allow, to touch the space beyond.
I fail in this quest.
“Maybe a chair will give me the added height I need.” I mumble as I walk back to my porch.
Dragging the chair to the same spot, I try the same endeavor. I experience the same failure.
I will think about this and try again tomorrow night.
“As the Heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:9
