My hand's where shaking, sweat was dripping down my face. I had tried to stop myself but my habit grew like a drug. Almost no one knew, but how can you hide something from the all seeing, the all mighty. I thought I could over come it but everytime I stumbled I comforted myself. "it was part of recovery" I told myself. But it never stopped and here I was standing with a gun pointed to my head. The gun was shaking in my hands. What would people think went wrong? It was for the best...

Bang!!!

It was to late. I never thought death would be so sweet. An undesrcibable feeling was in my soul. I could almost see myself falling, but then everything stopped. A loud noise awoke me.

Was I in hell. My head ached in my left arm lay frozen. I tried to open my eyes but darkness filled the space. With every pump of blood from my heart pain filled my body. Someone's voice calmed me down as I let out scream's of pain.

Then I realised. I was not dead but lay blind and paralysed in a hospital bed. My life had to carry on. Only then did the true meaning of life come in.

If I did not believe I was forgiven and move on. I would always fall back. Life is more than a rocky path it is a union and a joy which God can share with us. I did not love him and without love I would go back to ny sinful ways over and over again. Letting myself return to my problem would block that love. You don't just stop and suddenly change direction by yourself. Only a miracle from God can solve that. All you have to do it admit, submit and be true. Become humble and full of humility and bow down before God. Pray as long as it takes to build a relation, blocking everyone and everything from the world. Charity starts at home and you have to pray for yourself before you start praying for others.
