Listen up! Men and women everywhere. God's grace is sufficient for all your needs. Is anyone out there married and thinking about divorce? Well I'm here for you today to testify of God's faithfulness to me and my family.
I know it can be very hard trying to make the best of your marriage and have it work,especially if your spouse is not saved and you are.
I got saved right after we found out I was pregnant with my second child. We were'nt married at that time; just dating. So that was the begining of my new life in Christ. We later got married after our little Hannah was born. We really struggled in the begining because we were both very selfish. But God had a plan to work on me. Everthing that I saw wrong with my husband God turned it around on me. He said get the two-by-for out of your own eye before you try to get the spec out of your husbands.So That's what I did. I began dealing with all my faults and started a new relationship with the Savior of my soul.I was delivered from depression, drugs,alchohol, and cigeretes. All the while my husband continued on a different path.He very much supported the fact I commited my life to God, but he himself refused to do that.
So instead of nagging my husband about how God can change his life I just began to pray. I prayed about his salvation, his bondage, his anger and moods and also continued praying for my life to be refined. After eight years of love and alot of fights my husband Got Saved. It was the best fight of my life because our fight led to salvation.At 2:00a.m. on4-22-05 my husband gave in and God took off those blinders and showed him the light. He was filled with conviction by the power of the holy spirit and he repented.praise the Lord My prayers were answered and the change happened instantly.Thank God I didn't give up or give in. The holyspirit always led me opposite to where I wanted to go.When I thought I was too mistreated and wanted to leave he said stay. When I thought there was no more hope; even on that very night; He got saved! The lord said trust me. this is my battle.So often did the Spirit remind me, we donot war against flesh and blood, my fight was against satan,and his demons. I thank God that he gave me back, what the enemy tried to steal from me. So hang on to the word of God and his promises for you and your family. God will always show himself faithful.
